US, Saudi and Pakistan Hold Joint War games
The United States Air Force has started joint exercises with the Royal Saudi Arabian Air Forces (RSAF) and Pakistan at Mushaf Air Base, Punjab Province, this week.
The Saudi Ministry of Defense said the exercise, known as The Aces Meet 2021, was launched on Monday (29/3) by the Saudi Military Attache in Pakistan, Major General Awad Al-Zahrani, and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Air Force, Marshal Waqas Sulehri.

The Saudi Ministry of Defense said that a number of Tornado RSAF fighters participated in the exercise.
RSAF Command Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Hamad Al-Hajjri, said the exercise involved simulating defense and attack schemes in several war scenarios.
He added that the exercise also included testing the capabilities of the Saudi air force in a different environment from the kingdom.

As quoted by Arab News, the Commander of RSAF Supply and Procurement, Captain Abdulrahman Al-Omari, said that a war simulation in a different environment than usual could allow all personnel to improve their preparedness to prepare for battle.
In addition, Al-Omari said the exercise, which will last until April 10, also aims to provide experience and expertise in planning to support air force operations.

In early March, the RSAF and the US also held a joint exercise on the west coast of Arabia.
The exercise, dubbed Dragon Drills, focuses on testing interception tactics, simulating warfare, simulating counterattacks, and training to suppress enemies in the air.
The Saudi Ministry of Defense said the exercise was carried out to "continue the joint operation of the two air forces in maintaining stability and security in the region."
